Shaanxi Coal Transportation and Sales Jan-Feb coal sales up 4.1% YoY

Shaanxi Coal Transportation and Sales Group (SCTS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group, realized a 4.1% year-on-year rise in coal sales during the first two months this year, reaching 44.43 million tonnes, according to its official Wechat account.

 

Among the sales, coal transported by railway increased 7.7% from a year ago to 25.52 million tonnes. The company achieved production and sales balance during this period.

 

In January-February, the company supplied 3.37 million tonnes of coal to the province, up 19.3% on the year.

 

The company has made great efforts to ensure stable supply of power coal through optimizing market and transportation structures and enhancing the ability to ensure cross-regional resource shipment.

 

SCTS has also enhanced the efficiency of its transportation and distribution system and aimed at digital transformation and upgrading to empower the high-quality development of coal marketing.
